Gandhamādana-praveśa and the Sudden Storm (गन्धमादनप्रवेशः — चण्डवातवर्षवर्णनम्)

तान्‌ प्रष्टकामान्‌ विज्ञाय पाण्डवान्‌ स तु लोमश: । उवाच वाक्‍यं वाक्यज्ञ: शृणुध्वं पाण्डुनन्दना:,लोमशजी ताड़ गये कि पाण्डवलोग उस श्वेत पर्वताकार वस्तुके विषयमें कुछ पूछना चाहते हैं, तब प्रवचनकी कला जाननेवाले उन महर्षिने कहा--*पाण्डवो! सुनो

tān praṣṭakāmān vijñāya pāṇḍavān sa tu lomaśaḥ | uvāca vākyaṃ vākyajñaḥ śṛṇudhvaṃ pāṇḍunandanāḥ ||

Perceiving that the Pāṇḍavas wished to ask about it, the sage Lomaśa—skilled in apt and well-formed speech—addressed them: “Listen, O sons of Pāṇḍu.”
