Bhima said: O Bharata, the princess Draupadi is afflicted both by the fatigue of the journey and by inner sorrow; yet that noble lady still goes on with us, sustained by her longing to behold Arjuna, the rider of the white steeds. The verse highlights steadfastness in adversity and the moral strength that springs from loyal affection and hope.
भीम उवाच
Even when the body is exhausted and the mind is burdened by grief, one can continue on the righteous path through steadfast resolve and sustaining motivations such as loyalty, hope, and devotion to one’s duty and loved ones.
Bhima reports to Yudhiṣṭhira that Draupadi, though worn out and sorrowful, keeps traveling with the group because she is eager to see Arjuna (called Śvetavāha, ‘the one with white steeds’).
