कचग्रहमनुप्राप्ता सास्मि कृष्ण वरा सती । पज्चानां पाणए्डुपुत्राणां प्रेक्षतां मधुसूदन,मधुसूदन श्रीकृष्ण! मैं श्रेष्ठ और सती-साध्वी होती हुई भी इन पाँचों पाण्डवोंके देखते- देखते केश पकड़कर घसीटी गयी

kacagraham anuprāptā sā asmi kṛṣṇa varā satī | pañcānāṃ pāṇḍuputrāṇāṃ prekṣatāṃ madhusūdana ||

“O Kṛṣṇa, O Madhusūdana! Though I am a noble and chaste woman, I was seized by the hair and dragged away—while the five sons of Pāṇḍu stood looking on.”
