Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) |

tam abhidrutya saṅkruddho vegena mahatā balī | agahnāt pāṇinā pāṇiṃ bhīmasenasya rākṣasaḥ ||

The mighty rākṣasa, inflamed with anger, rushed forward at great speed and seized Bhīmasena’s hand with his own. It is a moment of raw, physical confrontation: wrath drives the assailant to restrain his opponent directly, testing strength against strength and setting the stage for a struggle where self-control and righteous purpose must stand firm amid violence.
