न हास्य वीर्येण बलेन कश्रित्‌ सम: पृथिव्यामपि विद्यतेडन्य: । स शीतवातातपकर्शिताड्रो न शेषमाजावसुद्वत्सु कुर्यात्‌,इनके समान पराक्रमी और बलवान्‌ वीर इस पृथ्वीपर कोई नहीं है। इस समय सर्दी- गरमी और वायुके कष्टसे यद्यपि इनका शरीर दुबला हो गया है तो भी समरमें शत्रुओंमेंसे किसीको भी ये शेष नहीं रहने देंगे

na hāsya vīryeṇa balena kaścit samaḥ pṛthivyām api vidyate 'nyaḥ | sa śītavātātapakārśitāṅgo na śeṣam ājau vasudvatsu kuryāt ||

Balarāma said: “No one else on this earth is equal to him in valor and strength. Though his body has been made lean by the hardships of cold, wind, and heat, in battle he will leave none of his foes remaining.”
