Akṛtavraṇa’s Account Begins: Gādhi–Satyavatī–Ṛcīka and the Bhārgava Lineage Prelude

अकृतव्रण उवाच हन्त ते कथयिष्यामि महदाख्यानमुत्तमम्‌ | भगूणां राजशार्दूल वंशे जातस्य भारत,अकृतब्रणने कहा--भरतकुलभूषण नृपश्रेष्ठ युधिष्ठिर! भूगुवंशी परशुरामजीकी कथा बहुत बड़ी और उत्तम है, मैं आपसे उसका वर्णन करूँगा

Akṛtavraṇa uvāca: hanta te kathayiṣyāmi mahad ākhyānam uttamam | Bhṛgūṇāṁ rājaśārdūla vaṁśe jātasya Bhārata ||

Akṛtavraṇa said: “Come, I shall recount to you a great and excellent legend—O tiger among kings, O Bhārata—concerning one born in the lineage of the Bhṛgus.”
