The Arrival of Maitreya and the Admonition to Duryodhana

vinadantaṃ mahānādaṃ bhinnabherīsvanaṃ balī | bhrāmayāmāsa suciraṃ visphurantam acetasam ||

Vidura said: The mighty one (Bhīma) kept whirling him around for a long time—him who was shrieking with a great roar, sounding like a shattered kettle-drum, and convulsing without sense—until the rākṣasa Kirmīra became insensible. The scene underscores how brute force, when directed against violent wrongdoing, can swiftly neutralize a threat, yet it is portrayed as a controlled act within the larger duty of protecting the righteous.
