“O great king, I will do as you command—of that there is no doubt. Yet, as I plunge from the sky down to the earth, the force of my descent is exceedingly hard to restrain.”

The verse highlights a dharmic tension: sincere obedience to rightful instruction is affirmed, yet one must also acknowledge practical limits—some forces (like momentum once set in motion) are difficult to restrain. Ethical intent must be paired with realistic awareness of consequences.
A speaker addresses a king, promising to comply with his command without doubt, but warns that during a rapid descent from the sky to the earth, controlling or checking the speed will be extremely difficult—implying that an action may be unavoidable in its full force once initiated.
