“Revered sir, did you arrive safely in the Kurujāṅgala region? And are the five heroic Pāṇḍava brothers—those brothers—well and unharmed?”
व्यास उवाच
The verse models dhārmic conduct through courteous inquiry: one first asks about safe arrival and the well-being of others, reflecting compassion, respect, and social duty.
A revered figure is addressed with concern about his safe arrival in Kurujāṅgala, followed by an inquiry into the health and safety of the five Pāṇḍava brothers, serving as a transition into the next narrative segment.
