Vaiśampāyana said: “Therefore the Yādavas will meet their destruction through deeds done to one another—perishing by mutual conflict.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even the mighty can fall when inner discord ripens into violence; destruction may arise not from external enemies but from one’s own mutual wrongdoing, reflecting the moral logic of karma and the fragility of social cohesion.
The narrator Vaiśampāyana foretells the end of the Yādavas: they will not be destroyed by outsiders but will reach ruin through fighting among themselves—an ominous prophecy of internecine collapse.
