Yudhiṣṭhira said: “The continuity of our undertakings and the auspicious courses of our strength have been sustained. O mighty-armed one, through you, time and again our purposes have been fulfilled, and we have obtained the благest outcomes of valor and influence.”
युधिछिर उवाच
The verse highlights ethical leadership through gratitude and recognition of supportive agency: sustained success (kārya-siddhi) and auspicious outcomes of power (tejas) are not merely personal achievements but arise through right alliances, counsel, and assistance, which should be acknowledged.
Yudhiṣṭhira addresses a ‘mighty-armed’ person, crediting him with repeatedly enabling the Pāṇḍavas’ objectives to succeed and bringing them favorable results of strength and influence—an expression of appreciation within the war-time context of the Śalya Parva.
