ध्वजिन्यां हतनेत्रायां यथेष्टे श्वेतवाहन: । चरिष्यति महाबाहु: कक्षेष्वग्निरिव ज्वलन्,“हमारी इस विशाल वाहिनीका नेता नष्ट हो गया है। ऐसी दशामें घास-फ़ूसके ढेरमें प्रजवलित होनेवाली आगके समान श्वेत घोड़ोंवाले महाबाहु अर्जुन इस सेनाके भीतर इच्छानुसार विचरेंगे
