वैशम्पायन उवाच
When rightful authority concludes a matter and grants leave, harmony returns: the individual departs to his proper place, and society regains its earlier stability and contentment—an image of dharma as restored order.
After being formally dismissed, the person referred to as “he” goes back to his own abode; the people become pleased again and settle back into their former state, indicating that a disturbance has been resolved.
