ततस्तु सात्यकी राजन् पूजयामास पाण्डवम्,राजन्! तदनन्तर सात्यकिने पाण्डुपुत्र भीमसेनकी भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की। धर्मराज आदि पाण्डव तथा पांचाल सभीने भीमसेनके उस वचनका बड़ा आदर किया
tatas tu sātyakī rājan pūjayāmāsa pāṇḍavam | rājan tad-anantaraṁ sātyakine pāṇḍuputra bhīmasenakī bhūri-bhūri praśaṁsā kī | dharmarāja-ādi pāṇḍava tathā pāñcālāḥ sarve bhīmasenasya tasya vacanasya baḍā ādar kiyā |
Sañjaya said: Then, O King, Sātyaki honored the Pāṇḍava. After that, Sātyaki repeatedly praised Bhīmasena, the son of Pāṇḍu. Dharmarāja and the other Pāṇḍavas, along with all the Pāñcālas, received Bhīmasena’s words with great respect—affirming the value of courageous speech that upholds the cause of righteousness amid war.
संजय उवाच
The passage highlights the ethical weight of honoring valor and truthful, dharma-aligned counsel in a time of conflict: worthy words and deeds should be publicly respected, strengthening unity and moral resolve.
Sātyaki pays honor and then repeatedly praises Bhīmasena. Yudhiṣṭhira, the other Pāṇḍavas, and the Pāñcālas all show great respect for Bhīma’s statement, indicating approval and solidarity within the Pāṇḍava alliance.
