असम्भावितरूपं हि त्वयि कर्म विगर्हितम् । शुक्ले रक्तमिव न्यस्तं भवेदिति मतिर्मम,जैसे सफेद वस्त्रमें लाल रंगका धब्बा लग जाय, उस प्रकार तुममें निन्दित कर्मका होना सम्भावनासे परेकी बात है, ऐसा मेरा विश्वास है
asambhāvitarūpaṃ hi tvayi karma vigarhitam | śukle raktam iva nyastaṃ bhaved iti matir mama ||
Indeed, for you to commit a blameworthy deed is something beyond expectation. It would be like a red stain placed upon a white cloth—such is my conviction.
कृप उवाच
A person known for virtue and restraint should not be associated with censurable action; moral reputation is portrayed as purity easily marred, like a white cloth stained red.
Kṛpa addresses another warrior with admonitory respect, expressing disbelief that such a person could engage in a reprehensible deed, using the vivid simile of a red stain on white cloth.
