भूयश्चोवाच मतिमान् माधवो धर्मनन्दनम्
bhūyaś covāca matimān mādhavo dharmanandanam
Sañjaya said: Then again, the wise Mādhava (Kṛṣṇa) spoke to Dharmanandana (Yudhiṣṭhira), continuing his counsel in the midst of the war’s moral strain.
संजय उवाच
The verse frames Kṛṣṇa as the discerning guide who repeatedly returns to counsel grounded in dharma, implying that ethical clarity in war often requires renewed instruction and reflection rather than a single decisive answer.
Sañjaya narrates to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Kṛṣṇa again addresses Yudhiṣṭhira, signaling a continuation of strategic and moral guidance during the intense events of the Karṇa Parva.
