संजय उवाच एवमुकक््त्वा ततो द्रोणस्तव पुत्र॑ महाद्युतिम् । पुनरेव वच: प्राह शनैराचार्यपुजड्रव:,संजय कहते हैं--महाराज! वहाँ आपके महातेजस्वी पुत्रसे यह प्रसंग सुनाकर आचार्यशिरोमणि द्रोणने पुनः धीरेसे यह बात कही--
Transliteration
sañjaya uvāca evam uktvā tato droṇas tava putraṁ mahādyutim | punar eva vacaḥ prāha śanair ācārya-pūjitaḥ ||
Translation
Sanjaya said: Having spoken thus, Drona—honoured as a foremost teacher—again addressed your son, the radiant prince, speaking in a low and measured tone. The scene underscores the weight of counsel given amid war: instruction is offered with deliberation, even when the stakes are violent and immediate.
