हृततेजोबला: सर्वे तदा सेन्द्रा दिवौकस: । ब्रह्माणं शरणं जम्मुर्वत्राद् भीता महासुरात्,उस समय तेज और बलसे हीन हुए इन्द्र आदि सम्पूर्ण देवता महान् असुर वृत्रसे भयभीत हो ब्रह्माजीकी शरणमें गये
Transliteration
sañjaya uvāca | hṛtatejobalāḥ sarve tadā sendrā divaukasaḥ | brahmāṇaṃ śaraṇaṃ jagmur vṛtrād bhītā mahāsurāt ||
Translation
Sañjaya said: Then all the gods of heaven, led by Indra, bereft of their radiance and strength, went for refuge to Brahmā, terrified of the great asura Vṛtra. The episode underscores that when power fails and fear overwhelms, even the mighty must seek rightful counsel and protection rather than act from panic or pride.
