Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 96: Sātyaki’s Line-Penetration, Encirclement, and Advance toward Arjuna

ययातिर्नाहुषश्वैव धुन्धुमारो भगीरथ: । तुभ्यं राजर्षय: सर्वे स्वस्ति कुर्वन्तु ते सदा,नहुषपुत्र ययाति, धुन्धुमार और भगीरथ आदि सभी राजर्षि सदा तुम्हारी भलाई करें

yayātir nāhuṣaś caiva dhundhumāro bhagīrathaḥ | tubhyaṃ rājarṣayaḥ sarve svasti kurvantu te sadā ||

Sañjaya said: “May all the royal seers—Yayāti, the son of Nahuṣa, as well as Dhundhumāra and Bhagīratha—ever bestow well-being upon you.” In the midst of war’s uncertainty, the utterance functions as a benediction: invoking exemplary kings of old to confer auspiciousness and moral steadiness upon the addressed person.
