Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 96: Sātyaki’s Line-Penetration, Encirclement, and Advance toward Arjuna

एष ते कवचं राजंस्तथा बध्नामि काउ्चनम्‌ । यथा न बाणा नास्त्राणि प्रहरिष्यन्ति ते रणे,राजन! मैं यह सुवर्णमय कवच तुम्हारे शरीरमें इस प्रकार बाँध देता हूँ, जिससे युद्धस्थलमें छूटनेवाले बाण और अन्य अस्त्र तुम्हें चोट नहीं पहुँचा सकेंगे

eṣa te kavacaṃ rājan tathā badhnāmi kāñcanam | yathā na bāṇā nāstrāṇi prahariṣyanti te raṇe ||

Duryodhana said: “O King, I now fasten this golden cuirass upon you in such a way that, on the battlefield, neither arrows nor other weapons released in combat will be able to strike and wound you.”
