षट्‌ सहस्रान्‌ हयान्‌ वीरान्‌ पुनर्दशशतान्‌ वरान्‌

ṣaṭ-sahasrān hayān vīrān punar daśa-śatān varān

Sañjaya said: “(He mustered) six thousand horses—valiant and battle-worthy—along with another thousand, all of them choice steeds.”
