Sātyaki’s Assurance and the Protection of Dharmarāja (सात्यकिवचनम्—धर्मराजरक्षणविचारः)
evam uktas tu pārthena sātyakiḥ paravīrahā | tathety uktvāgamat tatra yatra rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||
Sañjaya said: Thus addressed by Pārtha (Arjuna), Sātyaki—slayer of enemy champions—replied, “So be it,” and at once went to the place where King Yudhiṣṭhira was. The moment underscores disciplined obedience within righteous warfare: a warrior restrains personal impulse and acts in alignment with the commander’s purpose and the protection of the rightful king.
