Nārada said: The mighty one subdued those snow-white lions—armed with claws and fangs—stripping them of their strength by sheer force; he dragged them away and bound them fast. The verse highlights controlled power: true prowess is shown not merely in killing, but in mastering violent forces and restraining them when needed.

Educational Q&A

Strength is ethically meaningful when it can subdue and restrain destructive power; mastery includes the capacity to bind and control rather than merely destroy.

Nārada describes a mighty figure overpowering fierce, snow-white lions—whose natural weapons are claws and fangs—rendering them helpless, dragging them, and binding them.
