युधिष्ठिरकृष्णसंवादः — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Appeal and Kṛṣṇa’s Assurance
Droṇa-parva, Adhyāya 59
पर्यदीप्यन्त तेजांसि तदानर्थाश्व नाभवन्
paryadīpyanta tejāṃsi tadānarthāśva nābhavan
Nārada said: “Then the radiant powers blazed forth all around; and at that time no misfortunes arose.”
नारद उवाच
The verse links the manifestation of tejas (radiant power, auspicious brilliance) with the absence of anartha (harmful outcomes), suggesting that when higher strength or auspicious force prevails, disorder and calamity are restrained.
Nārada reports a moment when luminous energies flare up, functioning like an auspicious sign or protective condition, and he notes that in that phase no misfortunes arise.
