भूतं भव्यं भविता चाप्यधृष्यं त्वत्सम्भूता भुवनानीह विश्वा । भक्त च मां भजमानं भजस्व मा रीरिषो मामहिताहितेन,भूत, वर्तमान, भविष्य तथा अजेय काल--ये सब आपके ही स्वरूप हैं। यहाँ सम्पूर्ण लोक आपसे ही उत्पन्न हुए हैं। मैं आपका भजन करनेवाला भक्त हूँ, आप मुझे अपनाइये। अहित करनेवालोंको रखकर मेरी हिंसा न कराइये
bhūtaṃ bhavyaṃ bhavitā cāpy adhṛṣyaṃ tvat-sambhūtā bhuvanānīha viśvā | bhaktaś ca māṃ bhajamānaṃ bhajasva mā rīriṣo mām ahitāhitena ||
You are the past, the future, and what is yet to come; you are the invincible. From you alone all the worlds here have arisen. I am your devotee, worshipping you—therefore accept and protect me. Do not allow me to be harmed through the agency of those who act with ill will and wrongdoing.
श्रीनारायण उवाच
The verse affirms the deity’s all-encompassing nature—time (past, future, becoming) and invincibility—and frames devotion as a moral relationship: the devotee seeks divine acceptance and protection, specifically asking that harm not be inflicted through hostile or unethical agents.
Śrī Nārāyaṇa speaks in a devotional register that resembles a supplication: acknowledging the divine as the source of all worlds and as time itself, the speaker (as a bhakta) petitions for refuge and protection, requesting that enemies or wrongdoers not be used as instruments to cause injury.
