शुभाड़दं नागयज्ञोपवीतं विश्वैर्गणै: शोभितं भूतसंघै: । एकी भूतं तपसां संनिधानं वयो&तिगै: सुष्ठतमिष्टवाग्भि:,उनकी भुजाओंमें सुन्दर अंगद (बाजूबंद) और गलेमें नागमय यज्ञोपवीत शोभा पाते हैं, वे अपने पार्षदस्वरूप सम्पूर्ण भूतसमुदायोंसे सुशोभित हैं, उन्हें एकमात्र अद्वितीय परमेश्वर समझना चाहिये, वे तपस्याकी निधि हैं और वृद्ध पुरुष प्रिय वचनोंद्वारा उनकी स्तुति करते हैं
śubhāṅgadaṃ nāgayajñopavītaṃ viśvair gaṇaiḥ śobhitaṃ bhūtasaṅghaiḥ | ekībhūtaṃ tapasāṃ sannidhānaṃ vayotigaiḥ suṣṭhutamiṣṭavāgbhiḥ ||
Vyāsa said: He is adorned with beautiful armlets and wears a serpent-formed sacred thread; he shines amid all the hosts and the multitudes of beings who attend him. Know him as the one, unrivalled Lord—the very treasury and abiding seat of austerity—whom aged sages praise with well-chosen, pleasing words.
