Shloka 20

द्रावयेयं शरैश्वापि सेन्द्रान्‌ देवान्‌ू समागतान्‌ । सराक्षसगणान्‌ पार्थ सासुरोरगमानवान्‌,'पार्थ! असुर, नाग, मानव तथा राक्षसगणोंसहित सम्पूर्ण देवता और इन्द्र भी आ जाय तो मैं उन्हें बाणोंद्वारा मारकर भगा सकता हूँ

drāvayeyam śaraiś cāpi sendrān devān samāgatān | sa-rākṣasa-gaṇān pārtha sāsuroraga-mānavān ||

Sañjaya said: “O Pārtha, even if the gods—Indra included—were to assemble together, along with hosts of Rākṣasas, Asuras, Nāgas, and men, I could still drive them back by means of my arrows.” The utterance conveys the warlike ethos of the moment: confidence in martial prowess is voiced in absolute terms, heightening the moral tension between human agency, divine order, and the escalating violence of the battlefield.
