मृद्नतः सर्वसैन्यानि युगान्तमिव कुर्वत: । आज मैं सारी सेनाओंको रौंदता हुआ प्रलय-कालका दृश्य उपस्थित करूँगा। अतः आज श्रीकृष्णसहित समस्त पाण्डव मेरा पराक्रम देखें
mṛdnataḥ sarvasainyāni yugāntam iva kurvataḥ | adya mayā sarvāḥ senāḥ pramṛdyā pralaya-kālasya dṛśyam upasthāpayiṣyāmi | ataḥ adya śrīkṛṣṇa-sahitaḥ samasta-pāṇḍavā mama parākramaṃ paśyantu ||
Sañjaya said: “As he crushes all the armies, making it seem like the end of an age, today he will trample the hosts and conjure the very spectacle of dissolution. Therefore, let all the Pāṇḍavas—together with Śrī Kṛṣṇa—witness his might today.”
