निमेषमात्रेण च तज्ज्योतिरन्तरधीयत । आसीत् किलकिलाशब्द: प्रह्वशनां दिवौकसाम्
nimeṣamātreṇa ca tajjyotir antaradhīyata | āsīt kilakilāśabdaḥ prahvaśanāṃ divaukasām ||
Sañjaya said: In no more than a moment, that radiance vanished from sight. Then there arose a loud, excited clamour—the jubilant cries of the gods, bowing in reverence—marking their awe at the portent and the moral weight of what had just occurred on the battlefield.
