द्रोणास्त्रेण महाराज वध्यमाना: परे युधि । नात्रसन्त रणे द्रोणात् सत्त्ववन्तो महारथा:,महाराज! द्रोणाचार्यके अस्त्रसे मारे जानेवाले शत्रुदलके महारथी वीर बड़े धैर्यशाली थे, अतः: वे रणभूमिमें उनसे तनिक भी भयभीत न हुए
droṇāstreṇa mahārāja vadhyamānāḥ pare yudhi | nātrāsan raṇe droṇāt sattvavanto mahārathāḥ ||
Sañjaya said: “O King, though the opposing warriors were being struck down in battle by Droṇa’s celestial weapon, the great chariot-fighters among them—men of steadfast courage—did not lose heart. On that field they showed no fear of Droṇa, even amid the deadly onslaught.”
