Shloka 30

उन दोनों महाबली और विशालकाय राक्षसोंने परस्पर आक्रमण करके दोनों हाथोंसे दोनोंके केश पकड़ लिये ।। तौ स्थिन्नगात्रौ प्रस्वेदं सुखुवाते जनाधिप । रुधिरं च महाकायावतिवृष्टाविवाम्बुदौ

tau sthinnagātrau prasvedaṃ sukhuvāte janādhipa | rudhiraṃ ca mahākāyāv ativṛṣṭāv ivāmbudau ||

Sañjaya said: O king, those two mighty, gigantic rākṣasas closed upon one another and, grappling hand to hand, each seized the other’s hair with both hands. Their bodies grew rigid with strain and they panted in sweat; and blood streamed from those huge frames, as if two rain-clouds were pouring down in a violent downpour—an image of war’s brute fury where strength, not righteousness, seems to rule the moment.
