Sañjaya said: On that battlefield, the two foremost Rākṣasas—masters of great illusion—fought on, striking at one another amid the chaos of war. Their prowess lay not only in brute force but in deceptive, māyā-driven combat, intensifying the moral darkness and confusion that war can unleash.
