अमोघशक्तिव्यंसनप्रश्नः — Why Karṇa’s Śakti Was Not Used on Arjuna

तत: सुतौ ते बलिनौ शूरौ दुष्कर्णदुर्मदौ । मुष्टिना55हत्य संक्रुद्धों ममर्द च ननर्द च,फिर आपके बलवान एवं शूरवीर पुत्र दुर्मद और दुष्कर्णको क्रोधमें भरे हुए भीमसेनने मुक्केसे मारकर मसल डाला और वे जोर-जोरसे गर्जना करने लगे

tataḥ sutau te balinau śūrau duṣkarṇa-durmadau | muṣṭinā hatvā saṅkruddho mamarda ca nanarda ca ||

Sanjaya said: Then your two sons—mighty and heroic, Dushkarna and Durmada—were struck down with Bhimasena’s fists. Enraged, he crushed them, and roared aloud, proclaiming his fierce resolve amid the brutal justice of the battlefield.
