धृष्टद्युम्नस्य द्रोणाभिमुख्यं तथा सात्यकि-कर्ण-समागमः

Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s advance toward Droṇa and the Sātyaki–Karṇa confrontation

को हि नाम प्रमत्ताय परेण सह युध्यते । ईदृशं व्यसन दद्यादू यो न कृष्णसखो भवेत्‌,कौन ऐसा मनुष्य है, जो दूसरेके साथ युद्ध करनेवाले असावधान योद्धाको ऐसा संकट प्रदान कर सकता है। जो श्रीकृष्णका मित्र न हो, उससे ऐसा कर्म नहीं बन सकता

ko hi nāma pramattāya pareṇa saha yudhyate | īdṛśaṃ vyasanaṃ dadyād yo na kṛṣṇasakho bhavet ||

Bhūriśravā said: “Who indeed would fight against an opponent who is heedless, and then inflict upon him such a calamity? Such a deed could not be accomplished by one who is not a friend of Kṛṣṇa.”
