Transliteration

ārṣabhe carmaṇī citre pragṛhya vipule śubhe

Translation

Sañjaya said: Taking up a splendid, broad, and auspicious hide—made from a noble bull and adorned with variegated markings—(he prepared it for use), as part of the warlike preparations being described.
