सम्पातेष्वभिघातेषु निपातेष्वसिचर्मणो: । न तयोरन्तरं कश्चिद् ददर्श नरसिंहयो:,ढाल और तलवारके सम्पात (प्रहार), अविघात (बदलेके लिये प्रहार) और निपात (ऊपर-नीचे तलवार चलाने)-की कलामें उन दोनों पुरुषसिंह अभिमन्यु और जयद्रथमें किसीको कोई अन्तर नहीं दिखायी देता था
