तावेनमभ्यद्रवतामुभावुद्यतकार्मुकौ । महारथसमाख्वाती क्षत्रियप्रवरी युधि,वे दोनों क्षत्रियशिरोमणि विख्यात महारथी वीर थे। उन दोनोंने युद्धस्थलमें धनुष उठाकर दुर्योधनपर धावा बोल दिया

tāv enam abhyadravatām ubhāv udyata-kārmukau | mahāratha-samākhyātau kṣatriya-pravarau yudhi ||

Drona said: “Then those two—both foremost among kṣatriyas, famed in battle as great chariot-warriors—rushed straight at him with bows raised, charging upon Duryodhana on the field.”
