भीमसेनो वयं चैव संयत्ता: सहसैनिका: । द्रोणमावारयिष्यामो यदि त्वां प्रति यास्यति,भीमसेन और हमलोग अपने सैनिकोंके साथ सब प्रकारसे सावधान हैं। यदि द्रोणाचार्य तुम्हारा पीछा करेंगे तो हम सब लोग उन्हें रोकेंगे
bhīmaseno vayaṃ caiva saṃyattāḥ sahasainikāḥ | droṇam āvārayiṣyāmo yadi tvāṃ prati yāsyati ||
Yudhiṣṭhira said: “Bhīmasena and we ourselves, fully prepared and supported by our troops, will hold Droṇa back. If he turns to pursue you, we shall restrain him.” The statement frames protection of an ally as a duty amid battle, emphasizing coordinated responsibility rather than reckless heroism.
युधिष्ठिर उवाच
In the midst of war, dharma includes safeguarding comrades through disciplined coordination. Yudhiṣṭhira emphasizes collective readiness and protective duty—restraining a powerful opponent not for personal glory, but to prevent harm to an ally and to uphold strategic responsibility.
Yudhiṣṭhira assures the addressed person that Bhīma and the Pāṇḍava side, backed by their troops, are prepared to intercept Droṇa. If Droṇa attempts to chase that person, they will block and restrain him, indicating a tactical plan to manage Droṇa’s movements on the battlefield.
