Transliteration

vegaṃ cakre mahāntaṃ ca rākṣasendrarathaṃ prati

Translation

Sañjaya said: He gathered great speed and surged forward, driving straight toward the chariot of the lord of the Rākṣasas—an image of relentless martial resolve in the midst of a war where courage and duty are tested at every instant.
