कर्णभीमसेनयुद्धम् | Karṇa–Bhīmasena Engagement
Chapter 111
तत: समरशौण्डो वै भैमसेनिर्महाबल:
tataḥ samaraśauṇḍo vai bhaimasenir mahābalaḥ
Sañjaya said: Then Bhīmasena—mighty in strength and famed for his relish for battle—stepped forward, ready for combat, as the war’s fierce momentum pressed on.
संजय उवाच
The line highlights the kṣatriya ideal of steadfast courage: in the face of escalating conflict, a warrior renowned for strength and battle-spirit advances without hesitation, embodying resolve and readiness to act.
Sañjaya continues the battlefield report: after the preceding events, Bhīmasena (here called Bhaimaseni), described as powerful and battle-eager, comes to the fore—signaling an imminent clash or decisive action.
