Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 107: Karṇa–Bhīma Saṃmarda
Arrow-storm Engagement
तथैव धनुरायच्छत् पार्थ: शत्रुविनाशन:
tathaiva dhanur āyacchat pārthaḥ śatru-vināśanaḥ
Sañjaya said: In the same manner, Pārtha (Arjuna), the destroyer of foes, drew up his bow—readying himself to meet the enemy with disciplined resolve amid the demands of war.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined readiness: a warrior who has accepted his dharma does not act from panic or cruelty, but prepares firmly and purposefully to confront adharma in the battlefield context.
Sañjaya narrates that Arjuna, described as a destroyer of enemies, draws/raises his bow in the same manner as previously described—signaling immediate preparation to engage the opposing forces.
