Educational Q&A

The verse highlights kṣatriya-dharma in action: when a just battle is unavoidable, a warrior-leader must meet danger directly, with steadiness and responsibility rather than hesitation, protecting the larger order (dharma) through disciplined courage.

Sañjaya describes a battlefield moment: the massive Kaurava formation surges forward, and Arjuna—identified by his white-horsed chariot—immediately rushes toward the oncoming host at great speed, initiating direct engagement.
