भग्नं तु स्वबलं दृष्टवा भगदत्तेन धीमता

bhagnaṃ tu svabalaṃ dṛṣṭvā bhagadattena dhīmatā

Sañjaya said: Seeing his own forces shattered by the wise Bhagadatta, he recognized the grave turn of the battle—how a single capable leader can break an army’s confidence and compel urgent resolve amid the demands of war.
