भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ७२: सैन्यगुणवर्णनम्, व्यूहरक्षा, दैव-पुरुषकारचिन्ता

प्रतिसंवार्य चास्त्राणि भीष्ममुक्तानि संयुगे | स्वेनानीकेन हृष्टेन युद्धाय समुपस्थित:,संग्राममें भीष्मके छोड़े हुए सम्पूर्ण अस्त्रोंका निवारण करके हर्षमें भरी हुई अपनी सेनाके साथ वे युद्धके लिये उपस्थित हुए

pratisaṃvārya cāstrāṇi bhīṣmamuktāni saṃyuge | svenānīkena hṛṣṭena yuddhāya samupasthitaḥ |

Sañjaya said: Having checked and neutralized the weapons released by Bhīṣma in the thick of battle, he stood ready for combat, accompanied by his own army, now filled with renewed confidence and exhilaration.
