Sañjaya said: “O king, I am delighted by your coming. Rising each day, I shall continually offer blessings for your victory. This I tell you in truth.”
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights truthful speech and loyal goodwill expressed through respectful conduct—rising up and offering sincere blessings—especially in a tense wartime setting where words can be used either to flatter or to speak honestly.
Sañjaya addresses the king, expressing happiness at his arrival and promising that he will regularly rise and offer auspicious wishes for the king’s victory, emphasizing that he is speaking sincerely.
