विवक्षितं किमस्येति संशय: सुमहान भूत्‌ । उभयो: सेनयो राजन्‌ युधिष्िरकृते तदा,राजन! दोनों ही सेनाओंमें युधिष्ठिरके विषयमें महान्‌ संशय उत्पन्न हो गया था। सब सोचते थे कि राजा युधिष्िर क्या कहना चाहते हैं

vivakṣitaṁ kim asyeti saṁśayaḥ sumahān bhūt | ubhayoḥ senayo rājan yudhiṣṭhirakṛte tadā ||

Sañjaya said: “A very great doubt arose—‘What is it that he intends to say?’ O King. At that time, in both armies, uncertainty spread regarding Yudhiṣṭhira, as all wondered what the righteous king meant to declare.”
