व्यक्त भीत इवाभ्येति राजासौ भीष्ममन्तिकम्‌ | युधिष्ठटिर: ससोदर्य: शरणार्थ प्रयाचक:,“देखो, स्पष्ट ही दिखायी दे रहा है कि वह राजा युधिष्ठिर भयभीतकी भाँति भाइयोंसहित भीष्मजीके निकट शरण माँगनेके लिये आ रहा है

vyakta-bhīta ivābhyeti rājāsau bhīṣmam antikam | yudhiṣṭhiraḥ sa-sodaryaḥ śaraṇārthaṃ prayācakaḥ |

Sañjaya said: “Look—clearly visible, that king Yudhiṣṭhira is approaching Bhīṣma at close range, as if overcome by fear. Accompanied by his brothers, he comes as a supplicant, seeking refuge.”
