म्लेच्छाश्चार्याश्व ये तत्र ददृशु: शुश्रुवुस्तथा । वृत्तं तत् पाण्डुपुत्राणां रुरुदुस्ते सगद्गदा:,वहाँ जिन-जिन म्लेच्छों और आर्योंने पाण्डवोंका वह बर्ताव देखा तथा सुना, वे सब गद्गदकण्ठ होकर रोने लगे
mlecchāś cāryāś ca ye tatra dadṛśuḥ śuśruvus tathā | vṛttaṃ tat pāṇḍuputrāṇāṃ rurudus te sa-gadgadāḥ ||
Sañjaya said: Those there—both the mlecchas and the āryas—who witnessed and likewise heard of that conduct of the sons of Pāṇḍu, all broke into tears, their voices choked with emotion. The scene underscores how righteous and compassionate behavior can move even hardened onlookers amid the harshness of war.
