In the Bhīṣma Parva, the thirty-ninth chapter concludes here. This is a colophon marking the end of the chapter, serving as a structural pause in the war-narrative and preparing the reader for the next movement of events and reflections on duty.

Educational Q&A

This line is not a doctrinal verse but a colophon: it teaches indirectly by emphasizing textual order and continuity—pausing the narrative so the reader can reflect on the preceding discussion of duty and war before proceeding.

No new event occurs here; it simply marks that the thirty-ninth chapter of the Bhīṣma Parva has ended in the Gītā Press presentation.
