विभूति-योगः (Vibhūti-yoga) — Exemplary Manifestations as a Contemplative Index
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत भीष्मपर्वके श्रीमद्भगवद््गीतापव॑के अन्तर्गत ब्रह्मविद्या एवं योगशास्त्ररूप श्रीमद्भगवद््गीतोपनिषद्: श्रीकृष्णाजुनसंवादमें ज्ञान-विज्ञानयोग नामक सातवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ,तस्मात् सर्वेषु कालेषु मामनुस्मर युध्य च । मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिममिवैष्यस्यसंशयम् इसलिये हे अर्जुन! तू सब समयमें निरन्तर मेरा स्मरण कर और युद्ध भी कर।* इस प्रकार मुझमें अर्पण किये हुए मन-बुद्धिसे युक्त होकर तू निःसंदेह मुझको ही प्राप्त होगा
tasmāt sarveṣu kāleṣu mām anusmara yudhya ca | mayy arpitamano-buddhir mām evaiṣyasy asaṁśayam ||
Therefore, at all times remember Me, and also fight. With your mind and understanding offered to Me, you will, without doubt, attain Me. In the ethical setting of the Mahābhārata’s battlefield, the instruction joins unwavering inner devotion with steadfast performance of one’s duty, so that action is purified by remembrance rather than abandoned out of fear or confusion.
अजुन उवाच
Unbroken remembrance of the Divine should accompany, not replace, one’s rightful duty. By dedicating mind and intellect to Kṛṣṇa, action becomes yoga, and the practitioner attains the Supreme without doubt.
On the Kurukṣetra battlefield, Kṛṣṇa instructs the hesitant Arjuna to maintain constant God-remembrance while still engaging in the battle required by his kṣatriya-dharma, assuring him of spiritual attainment through dedicated action.
